Well 300’ foot of cat 5e wire unground for 50’ of yard then up over a brushed covered embankment/ledge, we now have a trail camera that’s actually on the trail (lake to turners inn). Just need a snow depth sign made, some paint, and maybe some advertisement. Equipment and work donated by Gilmour Computer Service.

Youth safety courses in our area
The St Lawrence County Snowmobile Association would like to announce the following:
“New York State Young Operator Snowmobile Safety Course’s” offered for 2019-2020. This course provides fundamental information which all snowmobilers should possess in order to ensure the safety of riders and other trail users. Successful completion of this course results in the award of an NYS Snowmobile Safety Certificate. Courses are taught by experienced snowmobilers who volunteer their time to make the sport safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
The safety courses are offered to youth’s age 10 thru 17.

Saturday, November 16 @ 8:45 -4:45 Potsdam Rescue Community Room 38 Main St, Potsdam. 8:45 am to 4:45 pm Lunch is provided by St Lawrence Health System. Must pre-register by call at 315-244-0886 or email SnowmobileSafeNY@gmail.com. Instructor is Heather Cowen-Wilson.
Monday & Tuesday November 25 and 26 @ 5 pm-Punchlock Travellers will hold a safety class at Oswegatchie Town Hall, 51 State St., Heuvelton. Must attend two nights and pre-register by calling Instructors Greg Sloan at 315-344-7370 or Elwyn Couglar at 315-344-1220.
Saturday January 25 @ 8 am-Colton Sno Skippers will hold a safety class at the Colton School during Colton Winterfest Weekend. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Lunch is provided. Anyone who wants to attend call 315-212-0070. Instructor Danny Collins.

Today is a great day to be a Ridge Rider! New groomer has arrived! Thanks to a grant and the support of our members and sponsors we are proud to welcome the newest addition to the TRR grooming fleet, A 2019 CASE IH Puma 165 outfitted with Soucy Track and Blade and a 10’ 6” Trail Paver, LLC groomer, purchased through Monroe Tractor This awesome combo will help us keep the trails in the best shape possible while remaining fuel efficient.
